A reader asks about Power Plus MPG
A new MultiLeveler, Cheryl Head asked (via the comments) about a company called Power Plus MPG.

I have Power Plus MPG on my Multileveler Profile to do list, but I didn't want to leave Cheryl hanging while I finish up my research on the company.

Here are the Cliff's Notes on Power Plus MPG:

1. The company is in the same business as Bioperformance and that is bad. Biopeformance was recently shut down by the Texas Attorney General and is now being investigated by Florida's AG. Some basic product and same basic compensation plan.

2. Power Plus MPG is making crazier claims (45% increase in gas mileage) than Bioperformance and they are making these claims right on the corporate web site.

My suggestion: If you are looking to make a long term income with Network Marketing, do not sign up for any company marketing a gas pill or additive.

Hi to all lets clear a few things up first off power plus mpg is nothing like bio performance.Yes they had a gas pill and so do we.Our company has not been shut down and that will not happen. We have been here for 11 years and will be here for along time. Our product works and now we have a new liquid product that works even better. So if you want to make money and save money please contact us we will show you the product is real and so is the company. The person that left the comments above please contact me also.Thank you we look forward on working with each and everyone out there.Thank you Kirk

Power Plus is just another MLM gas additive scam trying to cash in on the current energy crisis. There is no credible information regarding the product. There is however information on what constitutes a credible gas additive. The EPA Certification testing that is done. NOT just registration. Also, there is no information on your 'doctor' Kent Smith. All of you people that continuously push this stuff are the lowest of the low.

Hi to all,

If anyone is interested in a proven product and not a MLM scheme check out SOLTRON. It has been used in the maritime industry for years and is proven! It was developed for the marine diesel engines but does wonders in a gasoline engine also. Check out the web site of NavStore, a marine product company and NOT some get rich quick scheme. Just an honest fuel additive that until now has never been able to compete with the likes of the cheap, off the shelf stuff at any automotive store or discount store. Check it out, no one is selling anything here except an honest fuel additive that has years of proof behind it.

I must come to the defense of Power Plus MPG. I've been using and marketing this fine product for almost a year now. It flat out works. Granted, it doesn't work for everyone, but not many things do.

So I reccomend trying it. I'll send you a mini bottle to try for free. Come on, take me up on it.

I personally take care of my downline and reward them for their loyalty. I have other programs that can help them supplement thier income and advertise their business at the same time.

Federal, State Law Enforcers Complete Bogus Business Opportunity Sweep

As part of the sweep, Attorney General Foti announced that his office has filed suit against Brent Holland and Dreamlife, L.L.C. d/b/a Power Plus MPG and DreamLife Products. The Attorney General’s Office alleges that Dreamlife, L.L.C. has operated an illegal business opportunity in the marketing and selling of Power Plus MPG distributorships. The company, operating out of St. Tammany Parish, sell kits to people who wish to start distributorships of PowerPlus MPG products. The product that is included in the kits are pills, powders or liquids that are advertised to increase vehicle gas mileage. The Attorney General’s Office alleges that the products may not work as advertised and may be harmful to engines. By providing a business opportunity to Louisiana consumers without complying with specific provisions of the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, Dreamlife, L.L.C., PowerPlus MPG and Brent Holland have allegedly committed unfair trade practices. Specifically, Dreamlife, L.L.C. failed to register it’s business opportunity with the Attorney General’s office and post seller’s and agent’s surety bonds with the Attorney General’s office.

MA, whatever your name is, get real and current. The info at the La. AG's office page is old. Dec 6th 2006. Its been seven months now and PowerPlus MPG is open for business as its been for more than a decade with Brent Holland. That should tell you something, if you don't get it, here it is: This is the company you should do business with, that was a situation which was solved in less than 48 hrs. As soon as they saw PPMPG is not Bioperformance all was fine. Actually do yourself a favor, call the AG's office in Louisiana and ask about it, I am sure when you hear it, you will want to contact me so here is my page before hand, visit my website at: www.saveonfueleverytime.com and see for yourself. Better yet, let me know I'll send you a free bottle. See? this is a diferent kind of company, we do not push the product on anyone, we offer a free sample before you buy and then after it you get your money back if you are not satisfied. What can you lose? I know what, more money at the pump so, pay attention and do not be stoburn. Be good.

If I were to try Power Plus MPG, I would only be concerened about one thing and one thing only, would using it long term harm the engine. I would be willing to risk the cost of the product, but taking a chance on damaging a 30,000 dollar hybrid, no way. I just don't think a ton of testimonials saying it won't, would be convincing enough, it would take some kind of airtight legal document for protection. Doesn't everyone have this concern?

Hi all,

I've tried Power Plus MPG because my friend boasted that his 2006 Toyota Sieena went up from 18 mpg to 24. I thought I would give it a shot with my 2003 Camry. Well, after 1st try I went from 25 mpg to 23 mpg. I've used it for 6 weeks, and it just stayed at 23 mpg. I've stopped using it for 2 weeks now and my mileage went up to 25 mpg again. Now, what's worse, my engine started sounding much louder than even before and there's this smell that was never there. I only have 70k miles on it, and it was working like a clock before Power Plus MPG. I have to confess, Power Plus MPG should buy me a new engine because they're screwed with mine to make financial gain. I'm really upset with them!
