Let's say you sell Tupperware. Why put yourself out there as a Tupperware rep?
- There are a cazillion Tupperware reps online, so why would anyone choose you, in particular?
- Again, if you decide the company’s not for you (even though Tupperware will probably will be around for a while!), you start from scratch.If you position yourself as the kitchen expert or the home organization expert - who happens to sell Tupperware - you’ve created a uniqueness for yourself that can’t go away when the company does. The mailing lists you create and the website visitors you have are still useful to you because you’re still the kitchen or organization expert.
It doesn’t matter what the product is, YOU provide the uniqueness and the expertise that can last a lifetime, no matter what your MLM decides to do.
