Network Marketing industry leader, Bo Short likes to say that there are two places you don't want to get involved in a Network Marketing company:
1. The Ground Floor
2. The Ceiling
MLM Vampire Hunter, "The Vampire Slayer" puts it this way:
This is one of my favorites - changing a likely negative into a positive. Everyone acts like the ground-floor opportunity is the greatest thing ever. I’m sure we all know a number of people who jump from one ground-floor opportunity to another, hoping for that huge cash windfall that is promised when you get in at the beginning.
Let’s be serious. A ground-floor opportunity might be a highly lucrative opportunity, but given the high failure rate of new MLMs, it will most likely be a waste of money and effort. So, it always surpises me when everyone gets all pumped up about the latest MLM and shouts “ground-floor opportunity!” from the rooftops and when it falls, they do it all over again with the next opportunity.
Sometimes when you choose the ground floor, you stay on the ground floor.
