When someone tells me about their "proven system for success", I would suggest finding out how much it is going to cost you.Network Marketing is a business and businesses have business expenses but you need to be aware that sometimes your business expenses are a profit center for upline gurus.
I believe that it is a conflict of interest to profit on the training of the associates on your team.
The beauty of Network Marketing is that if I help someone make money, in return, I make money too! This beauty is warped by greedy people that think it is OK to profit on training you to make money by selling you books, CDs, seminars and motivational meetings. Books, CDs and meetings are great, but they should not be a (in some cases THE) profit center for your upline guru.
The number one problem I find that people have is that the training is the profit center. Most of the top MLM Guru's in the market make just as much money telling others how to make money as they do from any mlm's they are in. You need to be very careful when you pick an upline, make sure they are in the business for the business not to make money from training.
