On Monday, June 19th, the company announced that it would begin expelling 10,000 "pests" from it's "hive".
The so called pests are agents who violated the company's terms of service.
There is little doubt that some of the pests brought in revenue for BzzAgent, but the move to expel them is expected to create greater loyalty among honest agents.
Network Marketing companies such as Quixtar have long looked the other way regarding violations, especially when it comes to their high level distributors.
In my opinion, Quixtar (Amway) would have very little competition today if the owners would have followed through on their 1983 promises to clean up the problems. Instead of following through, they caved when the high level distributors allegedly held back volume, in essence, holding the company hostage.
The lesson here?
Kick out the pests.
