So what happens when you are the author of "design matters" and the president of a graphic design firm but you use a crappy blogger template for your blog?
Answer: You lose customers.
I can set up a blog template in 1 minute that looks just like the design matters blog. That is a problem. Right or wrong, I expect a graphic designers blog to be graphically pleasing.
If I was in the market for some graphic design, which I often am, and I stumbled upon the design matters blog and it was really cool, I would have every reason to contact them about my needs.
The point here is that everything is important. Your blog is important, it is a reflection of you. Your web site is important. The people you bring into your business are important. It all comes together to (help) form the brand called you.

Are there blog templates for people who don't know html. I have a blog at blogger.com but I find that adding pictures and links is sometimes a little time consuming especially when you have to go to the template scroll down and try and find where to insert the proper code and sometimes things don't line up properly. I am sure there are other people thinking the same thing. Are there any free blog sites where you can basically cut and paste to add content with ease? I know my blog doesn't look great but compared to the above graphic designers it's not that bad.
