I can't believe that I am going to give away the biggest secret in Network Marketing for free.
Here it is: FIND PEOPLE WITH INFLUENCE.
If you want to have 50 people on your team at the end of your first full month in Network Marketing, find 5 people that have great influence with 10 people.
What would your volume look like if you added 50 new customers and associates to your team?
Many MLM Guru types will tell you to make a list of your friends and family and I would say that in some cases, that advice might be O.K., but in most situations, the friends and family approach is off base and old school (and I don't mean old school - cool like my Adidas shoes).
Let's be honest, most of your family members (mine too) are not great influencers.
The old way rarely works in marketing and PR, and the same can be said for Network Marketing...
Dougal Paver of RedOrbit:
LIFE used to be so much simpler for us marketers. People fitted neatly into large groups with broadly similar tastes, needs and wants' reaching them was relatively straightforward.
If only the world was quite so neat and orderly today.
Choice has grown exponentially, yet consumers have less time to assess it, so they've learned to filter out marketing messages, save only for those products for which they have an immediate interest or need.
And often, the people they rely on for validation and provenance aren't the manufacturer, but influential folk from within their own circle.
Welcome to the age of viral marketing.
The virus is spread by "influencers" - admired peers, colleagues, media commentators or celebrities.
We call them "early adopters", people first in on a trend and whose validation of it encourages the more cautious to jump on the band wagon.
Whatever your market, it's influencers you must now seek out. The old way - blitzing them with high profile advertising - rarely works.
