What makes a great blog?

It's content and great writers produce great content.

About a week ago, John Fogg, author of The Greatest Networker in the World and I spoke about his new blog and John suggested that the Transforming MLM Blog is the second best site about Network Marketing in the world.

The site has great content.

But, before now, John's blog was password protected and only available to people that purchased his new book. An interesting idea, but maybe a bit backwards when considering that way that ideas move virally today.
