I hope that Kim Klaver forgives me as a I continue to draft off of her ideas. I guess that's what she gets as the First Lady of Network Marketing, with the best MLM Blog on the planet.
Today, Ms. Klaver discusses covert marketing.
This is a big problem for many Network Marketers. They are excited about the new products they offer and they want to share them with their sphere of influence but they don't want to appear salesey (is that a word?). So instead of saying, 'hey Mary, I just started repping a new line of (widget), here try one", they say, "hey Mary, I just found this great (widget), you should try it".
The initial dialog is not awkward, but when Mary asks where you got this exciting new widget, your answer will be.

Hi Ty!
Thanks for the good words. And you are quite right - if someone hides (even unintentionally) that they're selling something up front, then, indeed, what WILL they say when someone says, "Oh great! Where do I get that?"
Oiy vey...
