Usually dividends are a good thing. However I am not so sure that is the case in direct selling.
Cash dividends to shareholders can eat away at the percentage that a company pays back to it's distributors.
Who do you think has the ear of the CEO in a publically traded company?
The distributors or the shareholders?
I am pretty sure (in most cases) it is not the distributor.
I highly suggest looking for a privately held, yet stable direct selling company.
