
It looks like MonaVie, the Acai Juice company will be getting some big competition in the near future as Coca Cola (Bossa Nova) and Anheuser-Busch (180 Blue) enter the marketplace with products contatining the so called Amazon super fruit.
Sales of the Acai fruit in the U.S. jumped from less than $3 million two years ago to $14 million in the 12 month period ending in April.
Because of the higher demand for the exotic fruit, prices have jumped by 60% over last year.
Sambazon Inc. handles more than 80% of the imported Acai berry and markets some of the products online and in stores.
Network Marketing companies rarely have to worry about price wars because of the incentive of the business opportunity attached to the product.
