Guthy-Renker, best known for marketing Proactiv and Windsor Pilates with well known celebrities like P-Diddy, Jessica Simpson, Tony Robbins, Vanessa Williams, Elle Macpherson and Daisy Fuentes have invested in a Network Marketing company called Max International.
According to sources, the company has plans to begin running infomercials with a "well known and trusted star" sometime in 2009.
Guthy-Renker is the world's largest direct response television company with annual sales exceeding $1.5 Billion a year.
Max International's first product is MaxGXL, a composition patented (composition patents are typically held by pharmaceutical firms), product that significantly increases your body's most powerful anti-oxidant, glutothione.
Double blind, placebo controlled, human clinical trials were commisioned showing the effectiveness of the product, helping Max International's first year sales reach record levels.
